It's the end of June already, which means a) We've passed half of 2015 and b) My holiday ENDS in 27 days *I know it's still long but 27 days could pass so fast when it comes to holiday* *crying*
Anyway, here's what happen to me in June!
Anyway, here's what happen to me in June!
There's not much that happen on my life in this month. The holiday has started since the end of May, so I spend most of my times in home now. I went to a small town with my classmates in the beginning of June, and it's really fun. After that, I spend most of my times reading, blogging, and watching movies. I know you must be thinking it's boring, but I enjoy it.
Speaking of trip, I'm going to Singapore tomorrow! That's why, you probably won't hear me in twitter or here for a while (unless I found a wifi, of course). I've scheduled some posts, so let's hope blogger didn't ate it!
In case you didn't realize, I change my blog design! I downloaded the template for free, and then design the header and the blog button myself (that's why it's so plain. I'm suck when it comes to designing something), but at least it looks cleaner and simpler than my previous design (which I like)
I also want to change something in my blog contents. Instead of just monthly recap, now I'm going to post weekly recap too. I feel like my blog is just about reviews and memes, and not enough something about me. Hope this thing could work!
What I post this month :
Review :
Last Year's Mistake by Gina Ciocca - 3 stars
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi - 4 stars
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - 4.5 stars
Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger - 4 stars
Other :
I post about top ten books I'd like to see as movie/TV show and books on my summer reading list.
I also post a discussion about weird reading habit and the importance of translation. Go check it!
I guess we all now can establish that I'm an extremely slow reader, since I only manage to read 7 books this month and it's a freakin holiday! Okay, so here's what I read in this month :
In case you missed these fabulous posts :
{Discussion} Cait @ Paper Fury write why she rarely DNF books (I totally see your point, Cait)
{Discussion} Jillian @ Jillian's Books write about why she admire book blogger (lots of hugs for you, Jillian!)
{Recommendation} Sara @ Deadly Darlings recommend us some great books (check this out, guys!)
{Review} Mel and Celine @ YA Midnight Reads share their thoughts about Made You Up by Francesca Zappia (I REALLY need to read this book)

So that's my recap for June! How's June for you?
I only read 7 books this month, too. I hope you enjoy Singapore. That would be an interesting place to visit.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks! I just came back from there and it's really interesting :)
DeleteI only read 3 books this month *sobs into the sunset* so good on you, reading 7. I do hope your weekly recaps work out :D What movies have you watched recently?
ReplyDeleteI only read 4 last month! Usually I read around 5, but since it's holiday I manage to read more :D I watch Jurrasic World and Pitch Perfect 2, have you watch it?
DeleteYup! Pitch Perfect 2 wasn't as funny as the first but it was still fun and Jurassic World was crazy action haha
DeleteJune was a pretty slow month for me as well. I had to do all sorts of things because of work and stuff and I wasn't able to read much, which is a sad. I do hope you enjoy your trip to Singapore, though! That country looks amazing. The airport is something you'd want to live for the rest of your life! Haha.
ReplyDeleteFaye at The Social Potato
On the contrary, I actually have a lot of free time but I feel lazy even to read. Hope you could read more next month! Yes haha the airport is definitely the best airport I've ever visited :D
DeleteAhhh have fun in Singapore!! I just read two books that took place in Singapore, and it was great. I'm itching to go there now... I really like your new blog design!! Happy July :D
ReplyDeleteRachel @ A Perfection Called Books
It's great! I actually never read a book that took place in Singapore, so I probably should try it. Hope you could go there someday :D Thanks, Rachel!
DeleteHave fun in your trip to Singapore!!!! I really want to go there someday because I heard it's really pretty there. You read so many good books this month! So jealous of you ;D Hope you have an awesome month this month! <3
ReplyDeleteJillian @ Jillian's Books
Thanks, Jillian! I definitely have fun there. Singapore is great and different from my country, which I like :D Hope you could go there someday!
