Monthly Recap : October

Friday, November 6, 2015

I actually planned to not write a monthly recap this month since it's no different than last month's recap. October is another slow-blogging month for me, and the excuse is still same--school. I have so many assignments and tests which make it hard to read and to blog, and when I didn't have it, I'm so tired I just wanna sleep (in fact, when I'm writing this, I just woke up from 3 hours-nap. It feels so good!)

Just for your information, I think I will be busier in November since I have to take my final examination. That's why, I think this semi-hiatus will last longer than I'd expected.

There's not many that I posted this month, but in case you missed it :

For Book Blogger Creativity Project (which is hosted by the lovely Nori @ ReadWriteLove28), my team (Red team) revealed our project! It's already begin, and you can check out the post here

I reviewed The Anatomical Shape of a Heart (which is awesome!). Also there's a giveaway of it (US only)

I read 3 books this month, which is better than last month (but I'm still 5 books behind schedule for my Goodreads challenge)

The Young Elites by Marie Lu : I actually didn't expect it to be so..dark. It's actually pretty good, but there's a few thing that confuse me.

The Anatomical Shape of A Heart by Jenn Bennett : Definitely recommend this one! If you love arts, you have to read it.

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia : HOLY SHIT MY FEELS. THIS BOOK WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE FEELS!

In case you missed these fabulous post :

Rachel @ A Perfection Called Books talks about food and books!

Cait @ Paper Fury writes about how it feels to be a fast reader (this made me grateful to be a low reader)

Emily @ Loony Literate shares her first book slumps

If you're wondering what does a third grader think about YA books, then Sara @ Deadly Darlings writes about it!

So, how's your October? Tell me about it!

  1. Ahh I totally understand the whole being so busy with school thing! I'm sure things will calm down soon and we'll all be here when you're able to return to the blogosphere <3

Also, all the books you read this month are on my wishlist - hope you enjoyed them! :)

  2. Blah! School stuff. So happy I graduated back in June. Don't know when I'm going to college but I can't say I'm looking forward to it.

I haven't read any of the books you have, but I really want to read TYE.

Best of luck in November on your exams!

  3. I didn't expect The Young Elites to be so dark either! I'm glad you liked it. :) I haven't read Made You Up yet, but it looks like I absolutely MUST.
