Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For the First Time in 2015

Tuesday, December 8, 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by the Broke and the Bookish

So, it's been like, 3 months since I last do Top Ten Tuesday and I must say I miss it! This week's topic--as you can see at that super-long-title--is new-to-me favorite authors. Since I just started book blogging in December 2014, there's a lot new-to-me authors whose book became my favorite, but I managed to choose ten. Here it is :

1. Marie Lu

I know, Marie Lu already published her books since 2011, but I first read her book Legend in the beginning of 2015, and it immediately became my favorite! So far, I've read 4 of her books this year, and I like them all.

2. Jenn Bennett

I know I'd love this book since I read the summary, and I'm glad to say that I'm right! Graffiti + cadaver artists + swoony and hot graffiti artist = perfection.

3. Francesca Zappia

With all the hype surrounding this book, I'm a little afraid to read it at first, but so glad I read it! It's so great and awesome.

4. Jessi Kirby

This book is like what I'd expected and so much more. Go read it, people!

5. Sarah J. Maas

I confess, I haven't read her Throne of Glass series, but I love ACOTAR! Can't wait for the sequel.

6. Kristi Cook

Love hate-to-love romance? This book is for you, then!

7. Marie Rutkoski

Forbidden love? So much yes!

8. Tahereh Mafi

I'm a little surprised that I like this series, considering the writing-style is a little unusual. But in the end, it's the writing-style that hooked me up.

9. Sarah Ockler

At first, I did not expect to love this book, but turns out I did! The characters are all awesome, especially Sebastian (who wants to be a mermaid) <3

10. Kasie West

I will read anything by Kasie West! Her contemporary books are just adorable.
