Authors I Wish I Could Meet

Tuesday, March 28, 2017
originally created by the Broke and the Bookish

One thing that sucks being an international bloggers is how hard is it to meet your favorite authors. Authors never come to my country (and other Asian country, except Philippines, perhaps), and I, as a 17 years old student, definitely can't just come to US like that. That's why, so far, all I can do is stare through my computer with burning jealousy at those who's lucky enough to meet their favorite authors (haha, just kidding guys. i'm happy for you). Anyway, here's 10 authors I wish I could meet someday.

These Authors Are New to Me!

Tuesday, December 6, 2016
Top Ten Tuesday is created by the Broke and the Bookish

It's been a long time since I last doing a TTT post, so I'm pretty excited to be back! Today's theme is new to me author, and eventhough I only read, like less than 50 books this year, I've discovered a lot of new authors whose next books I can't wait to read. Here they are!

1. Leigh Bardugo

I discovered the awesomeness that is Six of Crows earlier this year, and Shadow and Bone is even my very first 2016 reads (eventhough I haven't pick up the sequel yet).

If you've followed my blog for a while you'd know that I'm a huge fan of fantasy and contemporary genres. That's why, I decide to choose those 2 genres for today's TTT. Without further ado, here it is!

Books All Around The World

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

I really love this week's topic! Books set outside of US always get a bonus point for me, but surprisingly, I haven't read many books set outside of US. That's why, this list will consist both books I've read and I want to read. Here they are!

Books I've Read

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (England)

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (France)

The Statistical of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith (England)

Ten (Not So) Bookish Facts About Me

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

Today's TTT topic is slightly different, and I've debated with myself several times if I should write today's TTT or not because I'm pretty sure there are not many bookish facts about me. That's why, I decide to mix it with other not-so-bookish-facts so I could make it to ten. Here they are!

1. Most people know me as a slow reader, but actually I could read really fast if I want to! There are some books that I read in less than a day. The problem is, most of the time I don't want to read fast. I love reading each quotes and each sentences, and everytime I feel like I missed something I often look back.

Love Pirates? Or love time-travel thingy? Well then this book is for you! I admit that I haven't read many time-travel books, but I think The Girl from Everywhere is one of the best.

I'm Excited for These Books!

Tuesday, June 14, 2016
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by the Broke and the Bookish

Today's topic is ten books in the second half of the year that I'm excited for. Naturally--being a reader that I am--of course I have more than 10 books that I'm excited for. But I'll stick to 10 books, otherwise this post won't be any different than my goodreads '2016-release' shelf. Here they are :

Eight Books that Made Me Laugh

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Top Ten Tuesday is created by the Broke and the Bookish

Here's ten eight books that made me laugh (or, at least, grin, since I rarely laugh out loud) :

Percy Jackson series (or all books by Rick Riordan, basically)
Rick's writing is just the funniest, okay? The first time I read The Lightning thief, I couldn't stop laughing until my family stare at me weirdly.

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
Because of our one and only Herondale here, William. Planning to re-read this one since I miss his jokes.

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
I was grinning widely when I read this one because Caymen and Xander's banters are the cutest!

These Books Deserve All the Stars!

Tuesday, March 29, 2016
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by the Broke and the Bookish

Before you read the list, I must say that I found it hard to rate a book 5 stars, so some of these books might have a 4 or 4.5 stars rating. Also, since my opinion on book has changed over the years, please don't compare this list with my 5-stars shelf on Goodreads :)

Okay so, without further ado, here it is :

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson
The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski (my review)

Tuesday, March 15, 2016
Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by the Broke and the Bookish

Since there's only two seasons in my country, I'm actually not sure when Spring starts (is it in March or April?), so I'll just write about what books I'm planning to read next. Here it is!

Love is in the Air! | Ten Books to Read on Valentine

Tuesday, February 9, 2016

Valentine is just a few days away! I didn't have a boyfriend, but I'm perfectly fine in spending Valentine Day with my book boyfriends ;) Anyway, here's ten swoony books to read on Valentine day!

This is an all-time favorites of mine! I've read it at least 3 times and I still get all giddy because of Xander and Caymen

“I love you,” I whisper.
“What was that? I didn’t hear you.”
“Don’t push me.”
“I love you, too,” he says. He puts his cheek against mine. “So much.”
