Tiffany's Staying-in Essentials

Friday, February 3, 2017

As an introvert bookworm, I definitely would choose staying at home reading rather than going out any days (well, not any days, but most days). I mean, who doesn't love curling up in bed just reading or watching movies? When Leesa Mattress asked me what my staying-in essentials are, I thought it would be fun to share with you guys! Here they are :

My Dream Bookish Panel

Friday, January 20, 2017

Every international blogger knows how hard it is to attend a bookish panel. Me is no different. Up until this point, I've never attend one because there isn't any in my country. The closest one is probably in Philippines, and it still cost a lot of money to go there. So when Eventbrite is running a project to encourage bloggers to share their dream bookish panel, I thought why not? Since I can't attend one, might as well make one! If you haven't heard of Eventbrite, they are the largest self service ticketing platform that helps people find and plan events with their event planning softwareHere it is!

When Adam Blake lands the best elective ever in his senior year, serving as an aide to the school psychologist, he thinks he's got it made. Sure, it means a lot of sitting around, which isn't easy for a guy with ADHD, but he can't complain, since he gets to spend the period texting all his friends. Then the doctor asks him to track down the troubled freshman who keeps dodging her, and Adam discovers that the boy is Julian--the foster brother he hasn't seen in five years.

Adam is ecstatic to be reunited. At first, Julian seems like the boy he once knew. He's still kind hearted. He still writes stories and loves picture books meant for little kids. But as they spend more time together, Adam realizes that Julian is keeping secrets, like where he hides during the middle of the day, and what's really going on inside his house. Adam is determined to help him, but his involvement could cost both boys their lives.

2017 Reading and Blogging Challenges

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

Another year, another challenges to join! I participated on 4 different challenges last year, and guess how many I completed? ONE (which is the Goodreads challenge). That's why I decide to try another challenge this year (minus the Discussion Challenge), and I hope I actually could complete them all!

Give Me These 2017 Books!

Friday, December 30, 2016

I'd be lying if I say that today's topic isn't my favorite! There are so many 2017 books I'm excited for that it took a long time to narrow it down to 10 (plus a couple honorary mention!). Anyway, here they are!

OTPs of the Year!

Wednesday, December 28, 2016

I originally want to choose villain for today's topic (because who doesn't love villains?), but realized that I didn't read that many fantasy with amazing villains. That's why I choose couples, which is also the easiest topic for me. Here they are :

Matthias/Nina and Kaz/Inej and Jesper/Wylan- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (sorry but i ship these three so hard so i can't choose)
Arin/Kestrel - The Winner's Kiss by Marie Rutkoski
Frank/Emily - Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson
