March Wrap Up

It's the end of March already, but I kept thinking that this is still January! So far, March is the busiest and the least busiest month in 2015. The least busiest because there's many holidays this month, which is Easter holiday (aka right now) and a holiday because the twelfth graders are having some examinations, so we're not allowed to go to school. But it's also the busiest, since we have many holidays, the teachers are like 'forcing' the test. Sometimes we even have 3 tests in a day.. 0_0

Anyway, this month I manage to read 6 books, which is more than I read last month. These 6 books are :

1. The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

2. Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik

A retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Really cute.

3. Champion by Marie Lu

So far the only dystopia genre book that I absolutely love from the first book until the third!

Top Ten Books I Recently Added To My To-Be-Read List (10)

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

So this week's topic is top ten books I recently added to my tbr list. It's pretty easy since I'll just have to open my tbr shelf on goodreads. Here it is :

1. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
    This is the second time I read Jennifer's books. I heard many good reviews about this one, and since it's going to be a movie, I feel the need to read the book first.

2. Blackfin Sky by Kat Ellis
    I love mystery and fantasy, and this book has both.

3. Shut Out by Kody Keplinger
    A rivalry between girls and boys in the same school, sounds interesting right?

4. The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
    Another mystery, but sets in Europe (honestly, I kind of bored with setting in the US). If you've read The DaVinci Code, it kinda like that.

5. The Night We Said Yes by Lauren Gibaldi
    This book sounds beautiful (.."spending an entire night saying “yes” to every crazy, fun thing they could think of")

6. The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski
    Many people say that this is good, so I have to read this.

7. The Hit List by Nikki Urang
    Another contemporary, sounds funny!

8. Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill
    High school romance sets in London (aka my favorite city). I have a feeling it will make me swoon.

9. Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
    My friend recommend it to me once, and she said it's good.

10. The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand
       A book that I know will makes me cry just by reading the summary.

This week's topic is top ten books on my spring tbr list. Honestly, my country is a tropical country, so we don't have spring, winter, and autumn. It's like only summer here. That's why I'm not sure when spring start and end, so I will write down my top ten books I'm going to read in April until June.

1. The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West

    I've read West's previous books, and I love it. So I have a high expectation on this one.

2. A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall

    I found this book unique because it told a romance story from 14 different perspectives. Who doesn't like that? (Also, the cover is so pretty)

3. The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski

    Since The Winner's Crime has just been released and many people seems to love it, I'm going to start this series too.

4. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

    I actually never read any of Maas' books, so I'm going to start this one.

5. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

    This book has been sitting on my shelf for around, um 3 months? I have a feeling I won't enjoy this book because the whole strikethrough thing, but hopefully my feeling is wrong.

6. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

    I've been wanting to read this one since last year, but I don't know why, this book hasn't available yet in my local bookstore (sucks, right? That's what you get if you love to read English book but live in a country where English isn't the main language) (and I hate buying online because the taxes is so expensive--sometimes more expensive than the price of the book!)

7. Last Year's Mistake by Gina Ciocca 

    Best friend romance? I'll read everything that has it, including this one.

8. Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang

    Eventhough I didn't like a 'depression' theme book, I've heard many good reviews about this one. That's why I kinda curious about this book.

9. Things We Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby

    I have a feeling that this book will make me cry..

10. Joyride by Anna Banks

      A popular guy and a shy girl romance with some twist? Of course I'll read this.
