Day 1
Day 2
We went there from 10 am until 4 pm. There's not many rides in there, but there's many impressive things made from Lego. Here's a few of it
I had a great time there
Day 3
(aka the day when we actually went to Singapore)
After that, we went to the apartment in Orchard Road, then take a walk there. In case you don't know, Orchard Road is a famous road full of mall. Seriously, everywhere you glance, there's mall. It's awesome and made me want to live there forever. (for some reason, I didn't take many photos, only this)
After spending time in there, we went by MRT to Gardens by the Bay in Marina Bay. We didn't actually went inside the garden because we have to pay S$ 28 each (that's like US$ 21, I think) and there's five of us, so no (also, I rather spend it for books and foods). But we did take a stroll at the small park around the garden, and it's beautiful.
Day 4
We plan to go to Sentosa that day, but unexpectedly, it was raining that morning so we have to postpone it. Around 10 pm, we went to Sentosa to see (of course) the infamous Universal Globe. I've been to Universal Studios before so I didn't go in there again, but we still taking many photos.
YOU NEED THIS |
AND THIS TOO |
We went to Chinatown after that. As expected, it's crowded, both with people and stalls. Which make me lazy to take a photo so no photo there.
For the second time, we went to Orchard road again. Turns out, they closed some parts of the road so we could take a walk in the middle of the road. This is a new experiences of me, because the few times I went to Singapore, it never happened so I'm pretty happy about it. We spend the night just walking in there, and, of course, a little shopping.
And finally, the most important question..
Did I buy books?
The answer is yes, I did buy books. But if you're expecting a huge stack of books, then prepare to be disappointed because I only buy..2 books!
The Winner's Curse and The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski |
Better get 2 than none, right?
GORGEOUS PICTURES TIFFANY. I have never been to Singapore or Malaysia even if the countries are only hours away from the Philippines. But I've always wanted to visit Singapore! <3 LEGOLAND. I don't care how old I am at the moment -- I just really kind of want to go there because I'm curious how it is there! Thanks for sharing all about your amazing trip Tiffany! I love learning about what other bloggers do when they go somewhere :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jillian! Hope you got the chance to visit Singapore :) Legoland is pretty impressive, though there's not much to play since most of them are for kids xD
DeleteOh wow. I hope you've had an amazing trip! I've always wanted to travel, but alas I'm still stuck in my little spot of earth. >.<
ReplyDeleteEep! Legoland! I love legos, except when I step on them. Seriously, they could be fatal weapons.
AND THAT CAKE! <3
Julie @ Books and Insomnia
Hope you could travel someday, Julie! I know! I step at one of my brother's Lego a few days ago and it really hurt.
DeleteThose are excellent book choices. xD I LOVE THE WINNER'S CRIME SO MUCH. It has an extraordinarily painfully wonderful cliffhanger. :')
ReplyDeleteAHHH!!! So cool! I would've gone to Legoland, pfft, who cares about age. ;-) My nephew is obsessed with lego (he's 4) but I find myself helping him out with a lto of things and quite liking it. OH. I've been to Malaysia before! It was a lay-over on our way to China tho, so we only saw the airport and a hotel and ate some seriously delicious food. hehe Cake is good. cAKE IS WONDERFUL.
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
Wow wow wow!! My family is planning a trip to Malaysia soon, and I am so excited to go! Singapore seems absolutely amazing too. Haha yes you have to try the meatballs at IKEA, it's a must apparently ;) ooh Lego Land and Universal? I had no idea they had them out there! Ignorant me :0 Awesome book buying! Glad you had fun.
